Oil and gas executives from Latin America prepare to attend the Mexican Petroleum Congress (CMP), which will be held in the city of Campeche, Campeche, in southeastern Mexico.
The meeting annually brings together specialists and managers in the field to update the union on business information associated with this industry.
It was within the framework of this meeting that last year, the director of Pemex explained, among other matters, the budgetary situation of the company's refining projects.
The venue that will receive attendees from June 7 to 10 is the Campeche XXI International Convention and Exhibition Center, which will have nearly 700 stands of exhibitors specialized in the oil field, among which those of SLB, Pemex, Diavaz and Halliburton.
The CMP has a program of more than 300 technical conferences in the modalities of plenary conferences, oral sessions, poster sessions and short courses to update themselves on oil and gas exploration and production processes.
"The CMP is designed for technological and scientific exchange, bringing together more than 8,000 specialists from all over the world annually, belonging to research and educational institutions, government entities, operating companies, and specialized service companies," quotes the welcome letter from Leonardo Enrique Aguilera Gómez, Executive President of the organizing committee, which is published on the (CMP) website.
In addition, he adds that one of the most important benefits of the forum will be the productive interaction between government officials, regulators, operating companies, service providers and industry users through business tables.
