4.This year's Distinguished Achievement Award for Companies, Organizations, and Institutions is awarded to Petrobras for deploying a wide array of new technologies that have successfully revitalized the Marlim Field and the entire Campos Basin in deep waters. This effort has opened new avenues for the redevelopment of mature deepwater assets with a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
5.OTC honors EnerGeo Alliance with a Special Citation for its leadership in efficient, sustainable offshore seismic operations and setting industry standards in environmental safety.
6.This year's conference will cover a variety of important topics including Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage, Decommissioning/Abandonment, Digital Transformation, Digital Technologies and Data Management, and Drilling Technology.
7.Speakers will include Jean Paul Terra Patro, CEO of Petrobras; Mohammad Askar, Director of Research and Development at Aramco; and Rami Yassine, Executive Committee Member and Senior Vice President at Halliburton, among others.
8.The conference will feature over 1,300 exhibitors and more than 450 technical presentations, attracting over 31,000 energy professionals.
9.Since 1969, OTC’s flagship conference has been held annually at NRG Park (formerly Reliant Park) in Houston. OTC has expanded both technically and globally with events like OTC Brazil and OTC Asia.
10.The next OTC will be held from May 5-8, 2025.
